6. What are common Tonopah crimes?

7. Is it possible to get criminal charges dismissed?
In general, prosecutors are willing to reduce or dismiss criminal charges in exchange for not going to trial – especially for first-time defenders.
8. Do I need an attorney?
Everyone charged with a criminal offense is advised to hire an experienced criminal lawyer for three reasons:
- Lawyers can show up to court in the defendant’s place so the defendant does not have to travel to court him/herself;
- Lawyers are skilled in crafting effective defenses to get charges lessened or dropped; and
- The D.A. is far less likely to offer favorable plea deals to defendants without their own private attorney.
Do not face the courts alone . . .
