Yes, people with a valid and current driver’s license issued from a foreign country may drive in Nevada. Once the foreign license expires, then the person will need to get the foreign license renewed or…if eligible…get a Nevada driver’s license.
Some immigrants such as green card-holders may be eligible for a Nevada driver’s license. However, tourists and exchange students are never eligible for a Nevada driver’s license. Non-citizens may contact the Nevada DMV and provide them with their status code to learn whether they may be eligible for a license.
Eligible foreigners who wish to get a Nevada driver’s license are required to take a:

- vision test, and
- on-road test
