People may obtain copies of their Las Vegas Justice Court records either in person or through the mail. You may also be able to find some initial information on the Las Vegas Justice Court Records Inquiry website.
In person
The general public is welcome to go to the Las Vegas Justice Court Clerk’s Office on the second floor of the Clark County Regional Justice Center, located at:
200 Lewis Avenue, 2nd Floor

The Clerk’s Office’s regular business hours are Monday through Friday, from 7:30 to 4:00 p.m. They accept the following forms of payment:
- cash
- VISA
- MasterCard
- Debit cards
- personal check (be sure to include the case number)
- money order (be sure to include the case number)
- cashier’s check (be sure to include the case number)

By mail
Complete and print out the Las Vegas Justice Court records request form. Then mail it along with payment via the United State Postal Service to:

Las Vegas Justice Court information
People who are arrested for any charge in the unincorporated area of Las Vegas — or who are arrested for a gross misdemeanor or felony in the incorporated area of Las Vegas — will have their initial Nevada arraignment in Las Vegas Justice Court. (People arrested for misdemeanors in the incorporated area of Las Vegas will have their entire cases handled in Las Vegas Municipal Court.)
Misdemeanor charges are litigated in their entirety in Las Vegas Justice Court, whereas felony cases may get “bound over” to the Eighth Judicial District Court if the defendant and prosecutors cannot resolve the case (such as through a Nevada plea bargain). Defendants who are convicted of crimes in Las Vegas Justice court may appeal their case to the Eighth Judicial District Court.
